In a world obsessed with the numbers… revenue. followers. enquiries. growth. engagement. months booked out. i think a lot of us started building businesses that look successful from the outside while forgetting to ask whether we actually like our lives inside them. did you make something you’re proud of this week? did you work with people you genuinely like? did you have an idea that made you excited to open your laptop? did you take the afternoon off because the sun was out? did your work feel meaningful? did you laugh? because those things count too. i didn’t start working for myself so i could create another job where the only measure of a good month was whether a number went up. sometimes success is growth. sometimes it’s money. and sometimes it’s closing your laptop and thinking… i really like the life i’m building. #creativebusiness #femaleentrepreneur #womeninbusiness #businessowner #femalefounder smallbusinessowner selfemployed creativeentrepreneur businessmindset founderlife
